The construction of these towers commenced in 2014 and has been divided into three distinct phases.

The initial step encompassed the erection of Marina Gate 1, a tower standing at 677 ft., which was finished in 2018. Commencing in 2016, the subsequent phase involved the construction of Marina Gate 2, towering at an impressive height of 846 ft., and it remains ongoing. As for the third and final installment of this trio, Jumeirah Living Marina Gate is currently undergoing development with a planned completion date set for 2020. This upcoming edifice will be overseen by Jumeirah Group International, renowned as an international luxury hotel chain; meanwhile, ownership shall belong to Select Group.
